Juventus Transfer News: Director Fabio Paratici watched Paul Pogba play against Turkey

Paul Pogba may return to Juventus

Who is involved?

Juventus Director Fabio Paratici was in the stands watching Turkey beat France in Euro 2020 qualifiers. The Serie A club is said to have secured the services of Merih Demiral for  €15 million. Besides him, Juventus might also be keen on signing Paul Pogba. The midfielder played the full 90 minutes in France’s 2-0 loss to Turkey.

What has happened so far?

Pogba’s future at Manchester United was first subjected to attention when he fell out with Jose Mourinho. However, the Portuguese manager was sacked in December 2018 after a poor run.

Despite that, Pogba is reportedly targeted by Real Madrid and there is also a chance that he could head back to his former club, Juventus.

Skills?

The French midfielder is surely one of the most talented players in his position. In 2018, he won the World Cup with France and his value in the market has increased significantly.

This season, the 26-year-old scored 16 goals and provided 11 assists in 47 games for the Red Devils. However, he failed to inspire his lead to a top-four finish in the Premier League and as such, United will be missing out on Champions League football next season.

Eager to win trophies, Pogba might make a move this summer. However, his price tag and release clause might hinder clubs from signing him.
