Who is involved?

According to media reports, Liverpool’s forward has rejected a move away to Anfield. Juventus and Real Madrid are both keen to get Salah to join their side.

What has happened?

The Reds player won the Premier League Golden Boot award for the second consecutive season amidst talk that he was just a one-season wonder. Instead, he shared the award with team-mate Sadio Mane and Arsenal striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Although Salah failed to lift the Premier League trophy this season, he managed to complete the full game in the Champions League final and got his hands onto the European trophy. It capped off a wonderful season for Liverpool who deservedly won a competition.

It was reported that Los Blancos and the Old Lady had offered up to £150m for the Egyptian. The 27-year-old is currently on international duty, playing for his country in the Africa Cup of Nations held in his homeland.

What might happen?

Jurgen Klopp surely would not let go for Salah who has been prolific for the club. The Reds scored a total of 89 goals in the Premier League this season with Salah netting 22 of those. It would be difficult for Klopp to find someone as consistent as Salah in the near future.

Given how well Liverpool are currently performing, there is no reason for Salah to leave the Premier League club.
